  • We strive for excellence by demonstrating total control, pure, clean Judo and a desire for the most effective use of our energy.
  • Manners, Integrity, Humility and Discipline are all worthy and expected attributes of all Athenry Judo Club Judoka.

Classes in Athenry

Classes in Athenry are held weekly on a Wednesday night. Our terms runs in roughly 12 week blocks in line with the school terms with the exception that we do not break for half term. At the end of each 12 week term there will be a demonstration and a grading for eligible students.

Athenry Judo Club follows a structured learning program which is taught in a student focused, safe and inclusive environment.

Classes are run based on age and experience level. Our student’s personal development goals are at the centre of our teaching approach and we aim to deliver a Judo and sporting experience that is positive, inspiring and inclusive for all students.
