Seamus Crowe, owner and founder of District Health and Fitness, is intensely committed to creating a relaxed, fun atmosphere while helping people meet their health & fitness goals. This commitment has been the driving force behind his success in the industry.

Seamus has a Diploma in Gym Instruction & Personal Training from the Irish Training and Education Centre, and is certified in a wide variety of fitness and health-related disciplines.

Formerly a professional soccer player with Wolverhampton Wanderers, Seamus continues to play soccer, Gaelic football and hurling at the highest local levels and is recognised as one of Galway’s leading sportsmen.

Among many other achievements, Seamus has uniquely been awarded the FAI Junior and Intermediate Player of the Year for his soccer exploits, won a Gaelic football club all-Ireland with Salthill-Knocknacarra and a Junior club all-Ireland with Menlo Emmets Hurling Club.

Ciaran Coyle – Lead Physiotherapist

Chartered Physiotherapy

Ciaran is a chartered physiotherapist and founder of Galway Bay Physio. He strives to deliver high quality individually tailored treatment programmes and rehabilitation, and also ensures that patients understand exactly what their specific problems are and most importantly how to cure them.

Ciaran qualified as a chartered physiotherapist with a Masters in Physiotherapy from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. He also has a Bachelor of Science in Human Anatomy from NUI Galway. All this has since been supplemented by a wealth of experience from working in a number of private practices and medical centres in the UK and Ireland.

A keen sportsman Ciaran has worked extensively with leading athletes and sports participants having been involved with Benfleet Running Club in England, Connacht Rugby, OLBC RFC, Athenry Soccer Club as well as other GAA and rugby clubs in England, Dublin and Galway.
